Beautiful antique glass plate made for the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. Embossed pictorial center reverse painted in gold shows the Festival Hall and Cascade Gardens. On top are embossed letters with "World's Fair St. Louis 1904". Under it is "Festival Hall and Cascade Gardens". The center is surrounded with a latticework of glass with small flowers at each junction. The flowers still have most of the gold paint. The letters around the center appear to have been painted in white but most of the white is worn off. The gold appears to be in very good condition. This plate is about 7 1/2" in diameter.
